Vinicius Sperandio

Impenetrable is an independent short film based on a short play, which explores the interaction between film and stage aesthetics, while telling a story about a young couple trying to reconnect their emotions after a traumatic episode in their lives. The film technical aspects were planned in order to express the husband's attempt to remember the last moments he spent with his wife. The filme is a poetic metaphor inspired by the physical concept of impenetrability, in which two bodies cannot occupy the same space at the same time.

I had the great pleasure of handling the entire post-production for this short film, including editing. The project went on to win Best Foreign Short at the 2017 London Independent Film Awards and was also selected for the Court Métrage – Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival that same year.
